ANTARCTICA

While it may look accessible, the continent of Antarctica is anything but.  We’ve done a lot of crossings – Cocos, Socorro, Silver Banks – but they’ve got nothing on the Drake Passage.  we were treated to the full Drake Shake there and back again but it was worth every second of rocking and rolling!  The scenery and feeling in not able to be accurately portrayed in words or photos so we’ll keep this brief.  Below are our meager attempts at showing the unspoiled beauty and vastness of this place at the bottom of the world.  The best we can say is that we feel a profound sadness for those that will not see and experience this place in their lifetime.  It is the most magical and surreal place we’ve ever been (and we’ve been some places).  Luckily for you we’ll be heading back in January of 2027 and this time it’ll be a 23 day trip with helicopters included as well as diving and snorkeling.  Get your long underwear and drysuit on and come join us for this truly once in a lifetime expedition.
